high discharge for 15 year old girl

My daughter is 15 years old and has been complaining of heavy amounts of discharge. I get One small whitish bump on the top of my lip of my vagina not in the inside but outside. It hurts at first then a little itchy. I have it for a couple days then goes away. I get this every so often and always comes back in the same place. But only One.....What is this? Should I be worried?
