Cervical Polyp Removed

Hi! I am getting a cervical polyp removed on Wednesday. Im having surgery to remove it (electrocautery). My dr said I could choose between having general anesthetic or local. Im a bit scared as I think it may hurt. Has someone have that done? Does it hurt when they do it? Thanks!

3 small bumps well spaced around my rectum

In the last 3 days I noticed 3 small bumps well spaced around my rectum. I thought that they were pimples I squeezed 1 and it popped. A white pus came out... It now looks like a small tear around where the bump was its raw and sore. I'm wondering if this may be herpes or just an irritated hair
