Uncomfortable Lump In Vagina

I'm a 19 year old and recently I noticed a small lump about a inch into the opening of my vagina, it isn't very painful but it is uncomfortable. A couple of days after I found the lump I am also noticing some redness and rawness around the outside of my vagina. Any advice would be great! %-)
