Brown Discharge after I took meds for reducing the menstrual pain

Hi! I am 19 years old, so here's my story first. I have my normal period and I take medicine to reduce pain but I notice that there's few blood coming out so after my 5 days my period ends. After a couple of days I have brown discharge and now its red(blood). So my question is, is this normal?
