When I got up from the chair, I was bleeding

so today I sat down on a chair and when I got up, I felt this squirt, so I ran to the bathroom and it turns out it was blood! I didn't know what to do so I just put on a pad. Does anyone know if this is normal

weird spotting 1 week before period

Last wednesday i noticed i had some brown spotting it continued to friday which then turned to pink spotting. And is now mucus and pink I've also have had some cramping. Im on the pill my periods are always regular and last about three days. Not sure what this could be and starting to get concerned.
