what are the risks of surgical removal of uterus?

I am 63 and have discomfort with prolapsed uterus. I have tried pessery (two different sizes over several months) and am now seriously considering surgical option. I would like to know what specific problems could surface after this procedure?Code:

ok so im 19... and i dont have that close of a relationship with my mom... so i never talked about this stuff with her.... but like... ummm.... id say about 2 1/2 months ago was the last time i was sexually active.... i got my period that month... then the next month it was like a almost 2 weeks...
