It's been for at least 6 months. I get really bad pain in my vagina area kind of like a throbbing pain. Like its pressure and kind of stabbing at times but not always. I haven't done anything sexually active in three years, but when my boyfriend and I make out and I get turned on the pain appears....

I'm 19, have had a Mirena since October 2011 (havent gotten a period since November) and just had my first (and so far only) genital herpes outbreak in January 2012.
