excess mucusy clear/white discharge. NO irritation/burning.

I have recently withint the past two days experienced an excess in discharge, which looks like clear mucus. There is no irritation and i have not had sex in the past 4 weeks. However, i havent been on the pill for about two weeks, as i am switching brands. Any ideas? %-)
