ok its been a week now and everytime i eat i get this excruciating pain in my stomach. At first it was gas, so i took some gas x. didnt work. Then after a few days thought i was constipated... took stool softener.....took laxitive. After laxitive i figured everything was out and id feel better....

I was recently diagnosed with GERD due to post-stomach virus inflammation. Now, I was taken off one med, metaclopromide, and am continuing to take omeprazole. My nausea has gone from constant to just on and off. Each wave lasts for about a second or two. What does this mean?
