Hi I've had a cold for about a wk now. I spit constantly. This morning for the first time I found specs of blood in the mucus. I am worried because I've been exposed to second hand smoke all my life and get fever and sore throat if I smell it now. Should I be worried?

Swollen glands and phlem

For the past couple of days I've been suffering from a swollen gland, but only on my left side. I also have tons of phelm that keeps coming up. I don't have a sore throat or any other symptoms right now, but my gland is really bothering me. What can this be? And what can I take to treat it?
