Why is it that it feels as through the top part of the back of my throat is closed, its been going o for a few weeks now, I also have coughing, coughing fits when I lay on my stomach, wheezing, shortness of breath and breathing through my mouth when I run is it just a cold?

Throat issues after quitting smoking

So glad to read all of this! Very reassuring. I quit smoking almost 2 months ago and am still experiencing a "clogged" throat and random coughing fits! I was seriously getting a little worried, but from reading these posts I feel a lot better that it is a common side effect of withdrawal.
