Why hasn't duromine 40mg worked for me?

I was on it for 5 days and got literally all side effects good and bad and had to stop cause of shortness of breath and didn't lose any weight in those 5 days now I've been on it for 8 days and I'm still the same weight actually a bit more :/ also been exercising for 2 months and never lost a pound...
