My periods last 7-9 days and occur every 17 days... What's going on???
I'd suggest going to your doctor and getting this checked out. It could be cysts on your tubes or womb that are dictating your cycles or you could have a hormonal imbalance. Sometimes a suited contraceptive pill can regulate your cycles & you will only be on for around 3-5 days. Or even possibly the contraceptive injection- this can stop periods completely & this can be a relief if you have been particularly heavy and regular for years.
Go to the doctor and see what would suit you, but it certainly sounds like you need to a doctor about this.
