I do not know why or how but I do know that I tried the HCG homeopathic drops for weightloss a few years ago and not only did I love 25 lbs I felt great! It helped my pain and I had improved periods for the next few months. I did some research and there was a study done in Austria where HCG injections showed great success in treating endo pain. Ever since I have been searching for a doctor who will prescribe it with no luck!!

Hi, I've been suffering from endo since 2009, had 2 surgeries and now the endo has fully taken up home in my uterus. So, no babies for me. After the 2nd surgery though, I decided to go natural and take up acupuncture. I was skeptical at first but after a few months, my endo pain was slowly going away, and in the past 2 years since I started I was living virtually pain free, (I did a session every Sunday). Then I discovered the HCG diet, and I was thriled there was a diet out there that would help me lose weight and hopefully help with endo as well. I WAS SO WRONG! My pains came back with a vengeance!!!!!! I was in so much pain, I had to go to the emergency room, my hemoglobin levels went down to 5.8 and I had to get an emergency blood transfusion because I was bleeding so heavily! My hair has since become so thin, my family members were afraid I was getting cancer! My immune system is shot. I used to be one with the 'good' immune system in the office, now I'm the first to fall sick (flu, cough, allergies hives. etc.) and would take ages to recover! No amount of supplements, vitamin C, etc. would ever get my body back in the condition that it was in. I used to only have minor pains when I had my period, now it's becoming worse and Im back to my depressed self. (Imagine living pain free for so long, and being happy to be able to do NORMAL things in life even with your period, and then doing something so stupid like pumping your body full of hormones and going bact to square one!) I have only read all 'great things' 'great success stories' with hcg diets, BUT NO ONE tells you dark side. I recently went in for a full blood test, thyroid test and the doctors were worried my red blood count has dropped again, I am so sad and depressed, I wished someone would have talked me out of doing the diet. Or that I found people who had endo and the HCG diet just made it worse! By the way, I have over the course of 4 rounds lost and gained MORE than I initially began with! Which is frustrating, and when I gained, it went to all the weird places on my body that I NEVER HAD A PROBLEM with before!

Before any snarky remarks about 'oh then you didn't do the maintanence part properly, bla bla bla..." I DID! And still even after the maintanence part was over and I went back to introducing carbs and sugars back in, the weight would pile on like no body's business! So of course I think, "well, I'll just do another round!" Trust me, it's a vicious cycle that never ends. ESPECIALLY for ppl with endo, I think the hormone has a largeeeee part to play in endo sufferers and the diet will not work as well. Ever wondered why while other ppl are losing 25-30 pounds in 3 weeks and you only lose 10-12? It doesn't work well for endo patients. That's why. so save your money, love your immune system, and seriously, think before you do it. I have NOTHING to gain from preventing anyone from doing the diet, but I wish I can somehow be the voice of reason that I SORELY WISHED I had found wayyyy before messing up my hormones for God knows how long. 12kg overweight than when I first started in 2012 and I'M STILL PAYING THE PRICE.

I never even thought about the connection of hcg and endo. I have had endo for more than 30 years, but when I was pregnant with my nine kids, it went away. After my youngest was born in 1996, I hemorrhaged for years, until I finally had a hysterectomy and double oopherectomy. After my surgery, my OB-GYN came to me and said,"Wow, You must have had significant pain with all that endo!" It made me wonder if she had ever listened to me. The only problem was the endo was still there even though I'd had the surgery. It was not as uncomfortable as it was when I was younger, or maybe I just learned to ignore the pain. Anyway, I am on my second week of shots and the pain is gone. It surprised me so much, I did a web search to see if this is common and found this site. I will try to come back periodically and post updates.

Did you ever try HGC for your other ovary? Did it help you? I'm in the same boat

I had a total hysterectomy a few years ago after battling endo for over 28 years. The only way to really go into remission is to remove the ovaries. Don't get me wrong, occasionally I have some sharp pain in my rectum as the disease spread there, they can't take it out because it was too dangerous. They are far and few between. I'm sorry you're suffering. I can relate.
