woke up with very bad period pains and my period started heavily,

later on that day, went toilet n felt that something was stuck in my vagina.. a round lump kinda thing. it fell out in the toilet but went right in the bowl, couldnt see what it was.. really worried.. has this happened to anyone? isit a mis carriage?
