Is ayurveda linked to TCM in some way?

Hi. I know that both ayurveda and traditional Chinese medicine are ancient disciplines that are been practiced for centuries. I was wondering if ayurveda is linked to TCM in some way. Does anyone have any clue about this? I think that there might be a connection, but I don’t know which one.

Hi, folks. I see that many people go for Ayurveda as an alternative medical approach. Everyone emphasizes its holistic approach towards patient. I would like to know if there are any regulation standards for Ayurveda meds or not. How is this regulated? I hope someone will know to answer my post.
