Antianxiety Drugs (Sedatives)

Antianxiety drugs depress the central nervous system and suppress anxiety, sleepiness and relax muscles. They are also called downers or minor tranquilizers. When abused, many of these drugs can lead to unconsciousness and death. Sedatives include: barbiturates, benzodiazepines, carisoprodol, glutethimide, ketamine (Ketaset®), opioids, opium, and zopiclone. Talk about all antianxiety drugs on this forum.

migraine after Lexapro

Has anyone had the experience of having migraine aura after getting off of Lexapro? I went off of it last September and I'm still getting aura and blind spots off and on all the time. I'm taking Advil or sometimes if I'm able I can rest, close my eyes and they'll go away but I can't always do this...

i have being using promazepam for 9years since my huspand abused me mentioly my gp told me it affects my brain respetors i stop the medication will my body heal , why cant i use other medication without severe affects like nausea tiredness convusion %-)

Cranial pressure while taking Lexapro

I began taking Lexapro one week ago. My Dr. told me to begin with 5mg for the first 10 days which is the dosage I'm currently on. Over the past two days I've had a lot of pressure in the back and top of my head. Has anyone experienced this and is this normal?
