Anticoagulants and Thrombolytics

Anticoagulants prevent blood from clotting while Thrombolytics dissolve and disperse blood clots. Anticoagulants include Warfarin, Heparin, Certoparin, Bivalirudin, Dalteparin, Enoxaparin etc. Thrombolytics include t-PA, reteplase, tenecteplase, anistreplase, streptokinase and urokinase. After my heart attack I was put on warfarin because of an iregular heart beat. This has now stopped is there any need for me to be on warfarin. I was on asprin but this was stopped. Should I be able to go back on asprin and stop warfarin....

How am i able to keep my INR level stable as last week it was 1.6 and this week it had shot up to 2.7 I'm not sure what i have done to get it that high as some weeks it stays the same :-)
