Anticoagulants prevent blood from clotting while Thrombolytics dissolve and disperse blood clots. Anticoagulants include Warfarin, Heparin, Certoparin, Bivalirudin, Dalteparin, Enoxaparin etc. Thrombolytics include t-PA, reteplase, tenecteplase, anistreplase, streptokinase and urokinase. i have been using Warfrin since my first heart operation in 1974. i now have small pimple-like skin eruptions which, when opened bleed and a 'worm-like' object comes out. could this be caused by the lengthy period of the intake of Warfrin?
