14 year old Benadryl overdose. she is having hallucinations and seizures

My 14 yr old granddaughter is in ICU after overdosing on an unknown amount of Benadryl. She is having hallucinations and also seizures. This was between 6 and 8 last night and she is still incoherent. Does anyone know if it gets worse before getting better? Has anyone been through this?
