Can taking Lamictal cause a seizure?

I have been taking 25mg of Lamictal for 8 days. I am taking it for Bipolar II/depression. On day 3 of taking the medication my right side from my mouth to my feet became numb and tingled for about 15 minutes. Could this be from taking the Lamictal?
