Diagnosed with anxiety disorder

I am 29 years old and have been diagnosed with anxiety. I only have problems when my body tries to rest. Trying to take a nap or sleeping at night. I dread night time because I have to take valium to go to sleep but always wake up anxious with tingling in my hands and arms. Please help.
