It is so frustrating for me, and for other people with autoimmune hepatitis, that there is no known cause of the disease! Does anyone here know about any clues with regard to serology and serologic markers? Are there any books I can read about this? Yahoo groups to join? Anything at all?

Hello dearest forum people. My conditions has been getting worse and worse. I have a rare form of vasculitis and will be facing kidney failure soon if nothing happens. Is there anyone with any idea what else I can try to stay alive a bit longer? I would welcome any suggestions at all.

vasculitis brain biopsy

M favourite uncle has been hospitalized. It seems he has vasculitis and the process is localized in the cerebral blood vessels. His doctor wants to perform brain biopsy in order to establish diagnosis. I am really wondering if this is necessary. This procedure is not harmless as far as I know.

celiac and drinking alcohol

Can anyone enlighten me in relation to celiac and whether celiac patients are allowed to drink alcohol? I would guess that beer has gluten in it and would be off limits for celiac patients because of this, but I am not a 100 per cent sure. How about other alcoholic beverages? Please tell me more!
