My friend is diagnosed with polymyositis a year ago..he is on medications and the enzyme levels are fluctuating now and then..he is not a chronic alcoholist but drinks atleast thrice a month..wanted to know whether this will affect the progress of the disease.. ?

Sjogren's syndrome an indicator of arthritic complication

My friend has been diagnosed with Sjögren's syndrome. I know that this is an autoimmune disease where process attacks glands. I have heard that this syndrome can be an indicator of arthritic complication, but I am not sure if this is true or not. Can you tell me something more? Bye!
