Is heavy bleeding after taking pill normal?

we use the condom,and after 9yrs the other day the condom actually broke!i nearly lost it anyway an hr later i drank the MAP...3 days later started bleeding heavy but no cramping etc...(had my period 2 & half weeks prior) is the blleding normal?Thanks
