consistant spotting for 2months while on levlen ed contraseptive pill

i just started using levlen ed last month and am on my second packet now but have had consistant spotting/break through the entire time. it sometimes stops for a day or two and but then outa the blue it springs back. is this normal or has anyone else experianed anything similar?
