Persistant low HDL

Hi, I am 36 years old woman. Three weeks ago I went to my doctor on a routine check. He did some analysis. He told me that I have persistent low HDL below 45. Does anyone have some experience regarding low HDL? I would like to know how to increase my HDL level in order to save my health.

I follow good diet, daily execise program -- very low blood pressure -- all testing done by medical profession come up negative -- why do I get light-headed and nauseous --almost on a daily basis.
