Corticosteroids are drugs related to cortisol, a hormone produced in the adrenal cortex. Corticosteroids are used primarily as anti-inflammatories but could be also used for treating some malignancies or natural hormone deficiency. Corticosteroid Drugs Include: Betamethasone (Celestone), Budesonide (Entocort EC), Cortisone (Cortone), Dexamethasone (Decadron), Hydrocortisone (Cortef), Prednisolone (Prelone), Prednisone (Deltasone) and Triamcinolone (Kenacort, Kenalog).

I would like to know, i`m 38 years old and i was taking prednisone from the 31 Jan 07 to 3 Feb 07, i would like to know how long, that`s stay in my system and how lon i will have side effect, per instant i still have bowell pain and i have pimples on my chest, back and a little bit onmy forehead....

Shoulder pain after we went clay pigeon shooting

Yesterday (Sunday) we went Clay pigeon shooting. The gun shoots back after you shoot and the gun as a bit big for me. Today in school, i couldn't even carry my backpack-it had three books and a pencil case in it- and i was wondering if i should go to the doctor or just ice it? thanks!

Help!! 2 weeks ago I received 2 cortisone shots in my lower back for scoliosis. Never again--I have been feeling wound up, anxious, depressed, insomnia, nausea, stomach upset, hot flashes, and racing heart. Does anyone know how long these shots last? i feel like i'm going out of my mind
