I had an abortion about two weeks ago and had sex about 4 days after my abortion I took a home preganancy test which showed positive. i havent taken a blood test but could this mean I am preganant? Is the preganancy hormone still active from the first pregnancy?

can anyone tell me how long you must wait to take a home pregnancy test or have blood work done to check of the HCG hormone to detect pregancy. I have been on depo for 3 years and i do not have a cycle at all which can be a blessing and a worry.
