I Would like to know if stents have been used in the small bowel for patients with reaccuring obsrtructions secondary to mechanical blockage, example adhesions? If so have they been successful in proventing complete blockage?

diarrhea after colon surgury

I had all but 10" of my colon removed in January of 2005.I have had 20 to 25 bowel movements a day since then.The only medicine I have had that helped is Keflex 3 times a day and the bowel movements go down to about 6 to 8 a day.Is there something else to try. Thanks
