lower stomach cramps lasting 6 hours or so

suddenly will get lower stomach cramps, coming every one minute or so and lasting sometimes up to 6 hours. cannot sleep when I get them. very very painful. have been checking for food and other things I eat and drink but nothing particular shows up. help.

How long after a colostomy reversal should a patient expect to have their first bowel movement

Typically how long after a colostomy reversal should a patient expect to have their first bowel movement without the use of a stool softner?  My mother had her reversal about 4 weeks ago and seems to be having problems going on her own.

my mum can feel lumps in her stomach when she presses it and i think its painful but sh has also gt ibs and lower back pain. so i dont know if its anything to do with that.
