I had my period for 3 year straight

I had my period for 3 year straight gone to the doctors and  all he said take these tablets and. Every time i  go back the doctors i have to pay him like nearly $200. Just for him to write a note saying i need tablets to fix my period.. what should i do?? should i go to another gp and ask for help...
