i've been having my period for 1 day only each month

for the past months my period is been very short i am consider regular my period is every 33 days never missed i am 32 years old and my period is heavy the first day super light the second day and spotting for the next few days can someoane tell me if this is ok? MY DOCTOR TOLD ME IT WAS
