If I had sex the day I was supposed to start my period could it delay my period? We used protection. I'm not on birth control or anything. But we did used a condom. Could my period being late just be because I had sex he day I was supposed to start?

I had a kidney infection this past month and I took Bactrum to treat it and I've been on it for 6 days and my period is now 3 days late! I'm kinda worried that I might be pregnant because I'm not on birth control but you guys are really putting my mind to ease with similar cases of late periods...
