hi, i am suffering myotonia for several last 30 years only medicine what is being taken is phentyoin. has anybody taken anybeter medicines and got cured. i have visited even country's best neuro surgeon but he has also could do nothing.

Thigh ache ZV

Most mornings my left upper thigh will ache on the outside part of the leg. Seems to be worse on mornings when I need to urinate. Doesn't seem like the two should be related but then again it seems like they are.

I wake up with pain stiff back&shoulderblades

I recently (for 3 weeks now) wake up with painful stiff back & shoulder blades. Ibubrufen & muscle relaxant were of minor help. I visited a physio-therapist who attributed my p ainto muscle spasms due to anxiety and did some hot pads massage. I am 60 years old. Please advise.
