Ankle and foot edema

The last two days I have noticed I have significant swelling of my ankles and feet. It is not pitting edema. I have a severe back injury so I spend a lot of time sitting. I have been taking Trammadol and Flexaril for several weeks and wonder if this could be a side effect?
