Syringohydromyelia (Should i be concerned?)

I recently had an MRI because of some herniated discs and was diagnosed with syringohydromyelia. My current doctor didn't seem to say much about it. My internet research has yielded some insight but I'm not sure what to believe. Has anyone had any experience with this? Should I be concerned at all?...

cold sores blamed for encephalitis?

My friend from school has encephalitis. My parents explained that it’s a kid of brain infection and that usually is caused by viruses. But my friend told me that you can get encephalitis when you have cold sores. I can believe in it. Could cold sores be blamed for encephalitis?
