numbness in left arm

not sure if this might be a side afffect though recently have had numness in left arm it lasted for about five days i thouht it might be due to pressure from sitting at computer and leaning on left elbow there could be a pressure point there or damaged a nerve that needs to heal .

Hello. My wife feels constant headaches and her doctor recommends her to go for mri scan. As far as I know, mri uses magnetic field for making images of tissues. I was wondering if this type of imaging has any side effects. Everyone is talking how harmless this method is. Is this true?
