Do treatment for Acatalasemi need to be aggressive?

All I know is that Acatalasemia can be treated effectively and that it can be cured. But does treatment for Acatalasemia have to be aggressive and invasive? I heard that hydrogen peroxide is sometimes used. How does this act against Acatalasemia and what does it feel like to the patient?
