Salty taste and damage related to toothpaste?

After years of using Colgate toothpaste then tried Sensodyne Pronamel only 3 or 4 times. But followed immediately by mouth/lip sores, fast degradation of teeth and together with a slimy/soapy, salty taste which lasted for many days after discontinuing. Does Sensodyne/Pronamel do this?
