why do i worry about this issue when I pleasure myself?

Im 16 and never maturbated properly. Ive only squeezed just under the tip - it gives alot of pleasure. But when i try to masturbate properly, i stop and it feels strange and i start to worry therefore ive never wanked. How can i actually wank and split the foreskin without issues.
