Snapped banjo string (frenulum) during the intercourse. I don't bleed

Hello I had abit of an accident on Tuesday night whilst having intercourse with my girlfriend and I snapped my frenulum (banjo string), it is not bleeding anymore but dose not seem to be attached at all. Will it heal on it’s own or go I need to see my gp?
