cervical inflamation during pregnancy

ive been told by my doctor that my cervix is inflammed but i have no stds. I would consider it chronic since ive had the sympotms for 3 months. Currently i am 15 weeks pregnant and my doctor wont treat it. could this have any effects on my baby or my ability to have children later in life?
