CTI or CT1 Testing?

My sisters friend is 17 wks pregnant. She had an abnormal pap so they did a colscopy (sp?). They then told her she would need to have a CTI or CT1 (could be CDI not sure) test run but that couldn't be done until 28 wks. Does anybody know what the test is for and what is done? TIA
