Clotrimazole vaginal tablet?

i was given the clotrimazole vaginal tablet to treat thrush, but because im a virgin i found it hard to insert all the way, how far does the tablet need to be inserted for it o be effective? mine is a little bit in but i can stil see the tip of the tablet.
