Lump on my pubic area?

im scared.. i have this lump on my pubic area.. it wasnt sore till i tryed to shave it off..its just red and ive got a little bit off puss out of it.. its quiet big, and a scab came off it tonight,i think its a ingrown hair but i dont know how to get rid of this lump!! could anyone help please?
