Surgery to make hymen bigger

So, my gyno says my hymen is abnormally small and that it will be difficult to have sex. She suggests surgery. However, my other doctor says that I just probably need a dildo and a patient boyfriend. I'm not sure what to do. Has anyone ever had this surgery? How much does it cost?
