lump on arm

I am sure that there must be someone here with some knowledge, who can help me get the answer to a mystery that has been bugging me for a while now. I have this lump on my lower arm. Doesn't hurt, doesn't look bad really, but it obviously shouldn't be there. Can it be some kind of an allergy?

affects more than hands and feet

What are these things on my legs?
