Acne is an inflammatory skin disorder of the hair follicles and sebaceous glands. They are divided into two groups: non-inflammatory such as whiteheads and blackheads and inflammatory such as papules, postules, nodules, and cysts. Acne can be found on the face, underarms, groin and buttocks, and under the breasts in women. Acne can also arise after shaving or starting a medicine. Talk about your acne problem, treatments and over-the-counter products as well as prescribed medications and other cosmetic treatments on this forum.

Sunburn is caused by overexposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation from the sun's rays as well as tanning lamps or welding arcs. Exposure to lesser amounts of UV causes a sun tan. Talk about tanning products, sunburn prevention and treatments, and sweating disorders such as excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) and prickly heat here.
