Most skin growths are harmless but need to be monitored for any changes that might indicate abnormal cell division. This forum is the place to talk about non-cancerous skin growths (dermatofibromas, dermoid cyst, freckles, keloids, keratoacanthomas, lipomas, moles, seborrheic keratoses, skin tags) and pigment disorders (albinism, vitiligo, melasma, pigment loss after skin damage).

Sunburn is caused by overexposure to ultraviolet (UV) radiation from the sun's rays as well as tanning lamps or welding arcs. Exposure to lesser amounts of UV causes a sun tan. Talk about tanning products, sunburn prevention and treatments, and sweating disorders such as excessive sweating (hyperhidrosis) and prickly heat here.
