Dehydration of L5 Disc in spinal cord

Is it possible to retain back the spinal cord's fluid in L5 & L6. Doctor told me that my disc got dehdrated in L5. How to get back my spinal cord fluid. Is there any medicine or excercise, by which I can retain back my disc fluid. Regards Salil
